Progress of Large-sacle Extraction and Purification Technology of Phycocyanin from Spirulina

Abstract: Phycocyanin has wide applications in food, cosmetics and medicine areas. There are large amount phycocyanin in Spirulinda. This review gives the progress of extraction and purification technologies of phycocyanin from Spirulinda, summarizes the problems in phycocyanin production from Spirulinda and looks forward to the future of large-scale production of phycocyanin.
