Abstract: In this study,the physical and mechanical performance of castor capsule shell was measured. By being simplified into a homogeneous thin-shell,its internal force and movement were analyzed by theory of thin-shell. The results proveed that two pairs of perpendicular foeces are benefical to even and complete cracking.
