Review on Safety and Nutrition Aspects of Transgenic Foods

Abstract:  Genetically modified food is a newly born product in human being’s scientific history. This paper attempts to provide a detailed analysis of the nutrition ingredient, nutriment stability during processing, biologic utilization and effect of nutriment, etc. In addition, it gives a rational analysis of the hidden trouble of security and reasonable evaluation of transgenetic food. This paper also puts forward the prospect of transgenetic food and upholds the view that genetic food will develop scientifically as long as people hold a scientific and rational attitude towards it.
