Abstract: The method was based on using the polymerase chain reaction(PCR)to determine the 35S promoter and the NOS terminator for detection of GMOs.Reference materials were produced and derived from genetically modified soy beans and maize(from Fluka)as control.correction identification of samples containing 0%,1%,2%,5%GMO was obtained for both soy beans and maize. The described method enabled a highly sensitive and specific detection of GMOs and thus provided a useful tool for routine analysis of raw and processed food products.
