Purification and Identification of Extracellular Polysaccharides from S. thermophilus KLDS 3.0207

Abstract:

In this study, the purification and identification of extracellular polysaccharides (EPS) from S. thermophilus KLDS 3.0207 were conducted using Sepharose CL-6B gel chromatography and polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. It was proved that the optimized extraction technology in the prophase can meet the request of EPS function analysis.
