Abstract: The high-performance liquid chromatogpaphic determination of geniposide is described.Geniposide wasseparated on a YWG-C8 reversed -base column using methanol-water-phosphoric acid(24:76:0. 1 ) as the eluent.Itwas found that the geniposide content of gardenia jasminoides fruit,Peel and seed is 3. 150g/100g 2.794g/100g,3.315g/100g respectively and there is a good linear relationship sepgration degree stability and reproducibility by the simplefast and accurate method to determine the geniposide.The average rate of recovery of geniposide is 99.01 % relativestandard deviation (RSD) is 2.27%.
