Research on the Hot Water Extraction of Water-Soluble Polysaccharides of Cassia Seeds

Abstract: The hot water extraction of the water-soluble polysaccharides from Cassia seeds was studied.The effects of four factors such as the temperature of extraction,the proportion of water volume,the time of extraction,the number of extractions on the extraction of the water-soluble polyccharides were investigated.with the orthogonal design of L9(34),the optimum conditions of extraction were obtained as follows:adding 30 times water as much as Cassia in 80℃ for 2.5 hours by 2 times extraction.
