Abstract:  After feeding the control SD rats and the NIDDM rat models with different RS content foods, and studying the different postprandial blood sugar responsions and the blood sugar and weight changes within four weeks,we concluded that: RS food can balance the postprandial blood sugar. The food with proper RS content helps to keep a normal blood sugar level. Besides,it can both impede and relieve NIDDM symptoms, such as the increase of blood sugar of the animal models and weight loss etc.
