Determination of Methanol, Ethyl Acetate and Fusel Oils in Chinese Spirits by Capillary Gas Chromatography

Abstract

Abstract: A new method for the determination of methanol, ethyl acetate and fusel oils in the Chinese spirits by capillary gas chromatography was studied.It showed that the methanol, ethyl acetate and fusel oils contents are in good linearity (r>0.9954), with RSD value 1.1%～3.1%. The recovery rate is 91.7%～98.5%. The method for the determination of methanol, ethyl acetate and fusel oils in the Chinese spirits by capillary gas chromatography is simple,rapid and accurate.
