Abstract: A new separation method of L-phenylalanine(L-Phe)from liquid of transformation was studied, and based on ion exchange and continuous separation by simulated moving bed(SMB)with standing wave design. The results showed that adsorption wave of L-Phe stays in zoneⅢwithout any adsorption loss, and the adsorptive capacity of L-Phe is 125g/kg resin, wheres the utilization of resin is improved.Desorption waves of asparagic acid and protein stay in zoneⅡby wake flow of the extract firm zoneⅠand desorption wave of L-Phe stays in zone L The L-Phe concentration of elution is above 35g/L,while 97.6% L-Phe is obtained from desorption by simulated moving bed with ammonia consumption(0.5mol/L)rate of L-Phe only 38.37L/kg.
