Research and Development of Functional Foods with Corn Pollen

Abstract: Corn pollen is rich in nutrients such as protein,carbohydrate,amino acid,nucleic acid and vitamin,etc.It has health care functions such as enhancing immunity,improving growth,development and decreasing blood pressure,etc.Corn pollen is carried wall-breaking treatment.Bioactive materials such as polysaccharide and flavonoids can be extracted from wall-broken pollen.Corn pollen can be used as material to produce healthy drinks such as pollen oral solution,pollen capsule,pollen beverage and pollen yoghurt as well functional food such as pollen bread,pollen noodles,etc.Corn pollen resource is very rich in the north-east region with good exploitation prospects.
