Safety and Labeling Management of Genetically Modified Food

Abstract: Fast development of genetically modified food has brought great economic benefits to the world,but its concomitant problem on food safety also cannot be ignored.The present situation of genetically modified food was summarized.The possible effects of genetically modified food on human health and ecosystem were disscused in detail.The labeling management of genetically modified food was introduced especially in some developed countries.The labeling rules and regulation of genetically modified food were discussed in China,which has guiding significance for perfecting the genetically modified food administration of our country.
