Abstract: High-speed countercurrent chromatography(HSCCC) is a liquid-liquid separation chromatographic technique, which has been developed in recent twenty years. Having many advantages in isolation of natural products and no any solid support, it has been widely applicated. The principle and characteristics of HSCCC were introduced in this article, and also the progresses and applications of HSCCC in extracting bioactive ingredients from natural products was summarized in detail.
