Abstract: Different scan manners for Nanguo pears by Purespect near infrared instrument were studied. The experimental results of scanning 6 times for one point did not show marked diversity in spectrum analysis. Calibration experiments for soluble solid content (SSC), effective acidity (pH) of 80 samples by different points scanning were carried out by the system. Calibration results indicated both correlation coefficient and RESEC achieve application level. The variance analysis for prediction values of 20 samples showed that marked diversity exists in models. The results showed that 180° running scan for 2 times is a credible, fast, easily operational manner.
