Animal Study on the Blood Lipid’s Regulation by the Proplis’s Flavonoids

Abstract: The Propolis’s basic component is the flavonoids,about 20 kinds or so. Besides, it also includes multivitamin, aminoacids, microelements, many active enzymes,spirits,lipids and acids.The experiment showed that in comparison with the miceof the control which were fed on the high lipids, the high dosage proplis could obviously reduce the concentration of TC in theblood serum, and obviously increase the HDL-C/TC ratio. Both of them had the obvious sginificance by the statistics(p<0.05).The effect of proplis on the level of the triglyceride in the blood serum had not been found in the expenriment. According to thejudgement standard of 《The way and procedure of evaluating healthy food function》 it was believed that propolis showedthe regulation effect of the blood lipids.
