Abstract: With HNO3 and H2O2 digestion,a method for determination of selenium in pea vermicelli by sequence injection hydride generation-atomic fluorescence spectrometry was developed. The effects of the instrument conditions, laboratory conditions, microwave digestion way,pre-reductant on the atomic fluorescence signal of selenium were discussed. The interference effects on Se and elimination of coexisting ions were investigated. And the operating conditions were also optimized. Results showed that the detection limit for Se is 0.10 ng/ml,and the linear range is 0 to 80 ng/ml.The method was used to determine Se in different pea vermicellis. The relative standard deviations are in the range of 2.94% to 4.01%,and the recovery rate was in the range of 90.33% to 102.31%.
