Abstract: The method and technique of rutin extraction from Eucalyptus Youmanii leaves were discussed first time in this paper. Rutin was extracted by alkali-solution and acid-isolation,ethyl alcohol reflux and hot water with orthogonal design. The techniques of extracting by alkali-solution and acid-isolation were: pH8,ratio of solid to liquid 1:10,time 10min,extracting twice and purifyed by hot water. The techniques of extracting by ethyl alcohol reflux were: 75% ethyl alcohol,temperature 75℃,time 3h,10% sodium bicarbonate,ratio of solid to liquid 1:20,and purifyed by hot water. The techniques of extracting by hot water were: time 30min,size 100 eyes,ratio of solid to liquid 1:30,extracting twice,and purifyed by hot ethyl alcohol. The method of alkali-solution and acid-isolation extraction is the best among all.
