Abstract:

In this experiment, the ultimate compressive resistance, ultimate compressive strength and elastic modulus of silver carp were tested by using RGT2000-10 microcomputer-controlled universal material testing machine, and the force-deformation curve was measured and analyzed. The results showed that the mechanical parameters of tested points in lines along head-tail axis were basically in consistence. This means that, along head-tail axis, the mechanical properties of fish body tissue are basically the same, while the mechanical parameters of tested points in line along back-abdomen axis were obviously fluctuant. This means that, along back-abdomen axis, the mechanical properties of fish body tissue are significantly different.
