Study on Extraction and Isolation of Lutein from Marigol(Tagetes erecta)

Abstract: In this paper the technogical conditions for extracting lutein from marigold (Tagetes erecta), including NaOHconcentrations in saponification and extraction time and times were investigated. Lutein products were analysed by thin-layerchromatography on silica plates.
