Abstract: Alkaline protease has been immobilized on chitosan with glutaraldehyde as crosslinking agent. The factors involving with the activity of immobilized alkaline protease, such as the concentration of glutaraldehyde, amount of alkaline protease, reaction temperature, time and pH, were studied. The results showed that the optimum condition for immobilization were as follows: 0.2% solution of glutaral dehyde; the load of enzyme was 11000U/g; pH10; the reaction time was 2h at 50℃.
