Abstract:  The optimization of sample preparation and determination for organophosphate and carbamate pesticide residues in fruits and vegetables were studied in this paper. Subcritical water extraction was first used for the determination of organo- phosphate and carbamate pesticides in samples of fruits and vegetables. The extraction efficiency of pesticide residues was significantly increased by subcritical water extraction. By temperature correction and dosage adjusting of the reagent, the operation is much simpler and the cost for determination is much cheaper.
