Abstract: The submerged culture conditions of Ganoderma Lucidum with activated selenium-containing ore as selenium source were studied. The effects of different carbon and nitrogen sources on the growth of Ganoderma Lucidum were investigated and the optimal fermenting conditions including temperature, rotating speed and pH of the medium were determined. The results showed that the optimal constitutes of the culture medium are: 2% maize meal, 4% glucose, 3% bran juice, 0.2% KH2PO4 and 0.1% MgSO·47H2O, and the optimal fermenting conditions are as follows: 28 ℃, 180 r/min, pH 6 and 15% inoculum volume. The dry weight of Ganoderma Lucidum is 23.59 g/L. When the selenium content of the culture is chosen as 5 μg/g, the total selenium content in Ganoderma Lucidum reaches 302.2μg/g and the selenium accumulation rate is 60.0%.
