Abstract: Objective: Effects on anti-oxidization ability of model mice fed with transgenic metallothionein(MT) mushroom were studied in this paper. The results showed that the dried transgenic MT mushroom can significantly enhance the activity of SOD and reduce MDA content of radiated mice’s serum, and promote the activity of SOD and the ability of anti-active oxygen of lead poisoned mice when there is 1% or 3.16% MT mushroom mixed feed(the fomer corresponding to does of 1 kg/d to human whose weight is 50~60 kg). But there is no apparent effect on activity of SOD and MDA content in senile mice’s serum. Conclusion: Transgenic MT mushroom can evidently improve anti-oxidization ability of radiated mice and lead poisoned ones. But there is no advantageous effect on senile caused mice after intradermal injecting of D-galactose.
