Study on Physical and Chemical Characteristics and Determination of Polysaccharide Contents of Crude Polysaccharides from Cordyceps Mycelium Powder

Abstract: Objective:To study the physical and chemical characteristics and determination of contents of crude polysaccharides from the Cordyceps mycelium powder.Methods:The reducing power of crude polysaccharides was detected by Fehling reagent and the polysaccharide contents were determined by phenol-sulphate acid inspects method.Results:The crude polysaccharides from the Cordyceps mycelium powder have no reducing power and no protein.The polysaccharide content of the crude polysaccharides from the Cordyceps mycelium powder is 35.37%.
