Abstract: The supercritical carbon dioxide fluid extraction technology of ursolic acid from Prunella vulgaris Linn.leaves was studied, and the extraction conditions were optimized by using the orthogonal test L9(34).The content of ursolic acid in Prunella vulgaris extract were determined directly by high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC).Results showed that the order of the factors affecting the extraction rate of ursolic acid is extraction temperature >extraction time >entrainer composition > extraction pressure, and the optimal extraction conditions are as follows:extraction temperature 30 ℃,pressure 15 MPa,methanol-ethanol 1:1 as entrainer and extraction time 90 min.
