Investigation of Several Questions in Grain Aeration

Abstract: This study aimed to analyze the effects on aeration by the difference in temperature between grain and air,airflow rate and opportunity of operation.The results showed that the change of aeration time is relative to the difference in temperature in a pattern of hyperbolic curve. When the difference in temperature is smaller than 8℃,the aeration time increases rapidly;The axle power and the total energy consumption change in a form of positive exponent curve in which the exponents are k2.3 and k1.3 respectively when the difference in temperature altesr;The rational selection for opportunity of operation can remarkably raise the effect of aeration.
