Hypoglycemic and Antilipemic Effects of Plant Polysaccharides

Abstract: Many kinds of natural polysaccharides are concerned for their important biological activities. The effects of antitumor and strengthening immunity, antioxidation, reducing glycemia and antivirus of polysaccharids were studied and reported everywhen. This paper summarized the hypoglycemic and antilipemic activities of 18 kinds of plant polysaccharides studied in China within latest1 0y ears.
