Abstract: Using two kinds of chromatographic column, Nova-Pak C18 and Bond-Pak C18, the carotenoids in Dunaliella bardawilwere analyzed through high pressure liquid chromatography. The results showed that in the same experimental conditions, theseparation of carotenoids with the Bond-Park C18 was more effective than that of Nova-Pak C18 The qualitative analysis ofcarotenoids to the result of Bond-Park C18 showed that there were over 16 carotenoids in Dunalidlla bardawil. Comparing thechromatograms of D. bardawil with that of D. salina, it was found that, between the two species, the chromatograms showedvery high similarity and the main carotenoids contents were of little difference
