Optimization of Liquid Medium Composition for High Mycelia Yield of Rare Edible Fungus, “Xiangwei” Mushroom

Abstract:

“Xiangwei” mushroom was cultured in liquid medium in shake flask. With mycelia yield as investigation index, the liquid medium formula was optimized by orthogonal test.The results showed that the optimal medium compositions are as follows: glucose 2.0%, beef extract 0.2%, KH2PO4 0.25% and MgSO4·7H2O 0.15% .
