Abstract: Extraction of crude polysaccharide from Pleurotus ferulae submerged fermentation liquid and its anti-tumor activity in vivo were studied.S180 tumor-bearing mice were intragastric administered with three doses:0.2,0.4,0.8 g/kg separately.The result showed that the pick-up rate of crude polysaccharide from Pleurotus ferulae submerged fermentation liquid was 0.97 g/100ml while the content of the polysaccharide was 32.9%.The three doses(0.2,0.4,0.8 g/kg)tumor inhibition ratios were 46.15%,55.42% and 58.67% respectively.Meanwhile,they could all elevate S180 tumor-bearing mice’s thymus index and spleen index.So it is concluded that polysaccharide from submerged fermentation liquid of Pleurotus ferulae has anti-tumor activity.
