The Research Development of Cornus Officinalis Sieb.et Zucc.Functional Compounds and itsApplication in Food Industry

Abstract: Cornus Officinalis Sieb.et Zucc is an important wild plant resource a nd also a traditional Chinese medicinal meterial.It cont ained some medicinal worthily ingre dients,the main compounds iso-lated from pulp involved the organic acids and their esters,five ring triterpenes and their esters,cy-cloalkene ether terpenes,tannins,vitamins,amino acids and minerals e tc.The pharmacological functions mainly included immune function,bl ood sugar lowering function,anti -i nflammation function,anti -shock function and heart strengthen ing function etc.Recently,only a fe w products of Cornus Officinalis Sieb.et Zucc.Were marketed in inland or foreign c ountries.The products includedthe tonic wine,the oral liquid,the beverage,the prese rved fruit,the jam and the can food etc.
