The absorption decollrization prop erties of enzymatic hydrolysis of xylo -oligosccharide solution on freshcalciumphosphateprecipytate(FCPP)wereexperimentallystudied.Theexperimentalresults indicatedthat the absorption ratio of coloring matters was larger than that of xylo -oilgosaccharide on FCPP,and the absorp tion ratio of xylo -oligodaccharide rais ed with the calciumhydrogen dosage.The absorption ratio of coloring matters reached 87.1%and the absorption loss of xylo -oligosaccharide was 10%at5.0g /L calcium hydrogen and24g /LTRS.The absorption isothermo f coloring matters on FCPPbelonged t o Langmir type.

Trehalose is a natural functional d isaccharide.It could be widely used in foodstuffs,pharmaceuticals,cosmeticandagricultureproducts.Trehalose’ s useswererestrictedduetothediff icultyinproducingit.Recently,peoplefoundanovelenzymefrombacteria---trehalosesynthase.This studymain lydiscussedthecharacteristics of trehalose synthase activity in permeabilized cells.The properties o f trehalose synthase in the permeate d cells were investigated systematically.The enzyme exhibited an optimumtemp erature of 35℃,and an optimumpHof7.0~7.8.The enzyme was stable at30~40℃,pH6.6~7.8.The activity of treh alose synthase was increased by addition of Mg 2+ ,K + and Na + ,but was inhibited by Zn 2+ ,Mn 2+ ,Cu 2+ ,Ca 2+ ,Ba 2+ .The enzyme could cat-alyze the conversion ofmaltose into trehalose by intramolecular transg lucosylation,but it could slightly hydrolyze maltose into glucose,and it was inactive on other saccharieds.

The paper mainly researched the prop erties of polyphenoloxidase extracted fromlettuce.It studied the PPOactivities with catechol as substrate in different pH,temperature,enzyme concertrations,substrate c oncer-trations and inhibitors.The results showed that there existed two kinds of isoenzymes in lettuce PPO with its opti-mumpHandtemperature as 5,7and50℃,respectively and the Kmand max as 7.125×10 -3 mol /L,1.4625×10 -2 U /min,respectively.The orders of i nhibition effects fromstrong to wea k were fromNaHSO 3 ?PA?VC to EDTA.

Dietary fiber frink of persimmon was studied by using Gongcheng Persimmo n in Guangxi as ma-terials.Optimization mixture design was conducted to study the amount o f fruit juice,acid,stabilizers and sugar used as main factors to set up a q uadratic with four variables regression equation.With the help of computer -aid optimum -searching,a best formula of reason amount of frui t juice,acid,stabilizers and sugar used was obtained.The products was graded and systemically analysed.At the same time,methods of deastringency was chosed by measuring the amount of tannis content.By studying the methods of measuring dietary fiber drink of persimmon,th e content of TDF ,SDF and IDF were dete cted respectively.The preservation of the colour,the odou r and the taste of dietary fiber drink of persimmon was also studied.

Pollen contains many kinds of nutrie nt components needed by the human bod y and has high nu-tritional and healthy effects.This article showed the method of rape pollen -wall breakage by microorganism zymolysis.The enzyme system produced by two Aspergilli(I:Aspergillus3040sp.J:Aspergillus3514sp.)was used separately and the mixture f rom above two enzyme solutions as the tools of rape pollen breakage was made accordingly.The results showe d that the efficiency of wall breakage by the mixed enzyme solution was much higher than the others.The wall breakage rate was more than 97%,whic h offered a fact that pollen -wall breakage needed some species of enzymes.At the same time,it provided a safe and credible approach to the edible and curative ways of pollen utilization.

The condition of mineralizing water made with Maifanshi and its application in fermenting drink like beer and rice wine were studied.The results were as follow:The main f actors influencing on concen-tration of mineral elements in mineralizing water are the granularity an d the content of Maifanshi,not conte nt of adding acid.The mineralizing water increases 5.7%of volume of origin al fermentation liquid,9.5%of sugar degree and 30%of alcohol degre e,but decreases 16.8%of reducing su gar.The mineralizing water decreases diacetyl concentration,increases alcohol degree in beer,an d improves the fermentation microbe.At the same time,the concentration o f health elements in beer and rice win e is increased.

Containing rich polysaccharides ,amino acids and mineral elements,Grifola frondosa which may be produced by submerged fermentati on in larger scale was edible -medicinal fungi.By analyzing effects on submerged fermentation of nutrit ion factors ,factors and levels were obtained.When the weight of dry fungi was used as the target,by orthogonal test which contained 4factors and 4levels,the optimum component of medium of Grifola frondosa was as follows:potato 250g,glucose30g ,yeast cream 1.0~2.5g,KH 2 PO 4 2~5g,MgSO 4 0.5~2g,water 1L.The optimum weight of dry fungi was 19.7g /L.The effect on target of the mass concentration r atio of carbon source was prominent.The test results were different when compared with those results in o ther articles.

EDTAtitration is a main method for th e determination of lactic acid in fermented broth.In this paper,factors influencing determination of lactic acid were studied with cont rol experiment and high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC).The results indicated that lactic a cid in fermented,broth must be neutr alized with excessive CaCO 3 before titration,then the pH value of solution was adju sted to exceed12.0with NaOH with calceinas indicator,a good reprodu cible result and recovery rate could be achieved.The levels obtained by HPLC in comparison with EDTA titration showed that EDTAwould yield excessive lactic acid data,but after calibration,EDTA method could still be used for quality control during lactic acid pro cessing.

Native starch,amylose andamylopec tinfromindica rice,japonica rice a ndglutinous rice were analyzed by gel permeation chromatography,respecticely.Results indicated th at native rice starch has 2~3main com-ponents as amylose,intermediate an d amylopectin.The pure rice amylose and amylpprctins were obtained by n -butanol recrystallization method.The molecular weight distribution o f amylopectins was broader than that of amylose.The molecular weight distr bution of amylopectin showed no sign ificant difference among three rice species,but the molecular weight di stribution of japonica rice amylose was wider than that of indicate rice a my-lose.The equations for average mole cular weight and elution volume of am ylose and amylopectin were estimate d,respectively.

Amethod of RP -HPLCquantitative determination of lovastatin in monascu s at its open ring formwas introduced.The sample of monascus was dissolved in 0.2mol /L NaOH.For extraction and transformation of lovastatin in to its open ring form,u ltrasonic treatment was used at 50℃f or 60min.Use silica adsorption chromatography for removing pigmen t and part of the impurities in the sam ple.After pretreatment the crude sample was purified by reverse phase-HPLC(phosphate buffer -acetonitril system V /V =65∶35as mo-tive phase,elute rate 1ml /min).The ultraviolet detector at 238nma ssayed the open ring formof lovastatin.By this method it revealed a good linear relationship within 0.2~6μg /ml andγ=0.9991.The lower limit of detection was 0.2μg /ml.The assay of 6repeated samples with standard showed the recovery as96%±3%.The variation coefficient was 3%.Fi ve lovastatin samples of Monascus fe rmentation products were determined by the above method and successful re sults were obtained.It revealed that this method was reliable for use.

In this paper,LBP -4was extracted an d isolated.Then the defatting effec ts of LBP -4on monosodium glutamate induced obesity of mice were investigated.LBP -4w as applied to monosodium glutamate induced obesity of female mice at the dose of 20?40?60mg /(kg•d)for 30days ,respec-tively.Then the body weight,Lee’ s index,fatindex,lipidinserum,th e volume of fat cell and the content of Acc mRNA in fat tissue,but the high dose of LBP -4could decrease it.The r esults showed that LBP -4couldadjust the content of Acc in fat tissue of female mice and could decrease fat in monosodium glutamate induced obesity of female mice’ s body.

To investigate the anti -hypoxia eff ects and mechanism of conjugated lin oleic acid,the mice were divided into four groups and adm inistratedorallywith1.5%,0.5%,0.1%,0%CLA respectively for successive ten days.The survival time of mice under the hypoxia conditio n as well as the contents of myoglobin in heart muscle and skeleton muscle was determined.The results showed that 0.5%CLA prolonged the survival time,and increased the contents of myoglobin in h eart muscle and skeleton muscle of the mice markedly.

In this study,compound propolis formulae were prepared from making up th e propolis’ ethanol extract with Chinese herbal broths o f licorice(Radix Glycyrrhizac)roots and herbaceous peony(Paeonialaciflora)roots.By means of the formula,myent eric motion tests were then carried o ut in vitro,In vitro bacteriostatic tests were als o conducted against some enteropath ogens and opportunistic pathogens,such as Shigella flexneri,Salmonella,Staphlococcus aureus,Escherichia coli,Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Proteus.The tests revealed that the formula showed certain inhibitive effect on the peristalsis of in-testinal smooth muscles and also rem arkable antispasmodic and abirrita nt effects.Compared with acetylcholine(Ach)and epinephrine,two neutrotransmi tters and atropine,an antagonist,t he actions of compoundpropolis formula on intestinal smooth muscles have not realize dthroughα-,β-or M-re-ceptors.Instead,they were probabl ymyogenicorviaotherways.Inthein vitrobacteriostatictests,theformula showedstronginhibitiveeffecn on t he bacterial strains tested.All of t heir MICs were lower than500×10 -6 ,while those on Salmonella and Shigella flexneri were both250×10 -6 .The study formed a pharmacological experimental basis for the application of compound propolis formulatio ns as a functional food to regulate digestivefunctions.

To cure 25children bronchial asthma with Ginkgo biloba extract and hormo ne repectively.The level of blood platelet activating f actor(PAF)before and after the treatment on bro nchial asthma children with Ginkgo biloba extract was examined in a biologicalway.To o bserve the change of clinical symptoms and compare the change of bl ood PAF level between before and afte r hormone teratment.The results werethat:the children PAF l evels of the two treatments did not exist remarkable difference.(t =0.997,p >0.05),andthe time of asthma improvement was similar.Perhaps the Ginkgobilob a extract was a kind of new drug to prevent and tr eat on bronchial asthma.

The purpose of the study is to investi gate the effects of melatonin on enhancing immunity.2-month -old female Kunming mice were s elected in regulating immunity tests.And in the improving sleep tests 1-month -old male BALB /c mice w ere selected.Mice were divided into control,low -dose(0.5mg /kg.•bw)and high -dose(1.0mg /kg•bw)groups.Control group was given distilled water,low -dose and high -dose groups were g iven different melatonin doses.The results showed that,compared with control group,low dose melaton in could improve the thickness of tum escence toe by 22.3%(p <0.001),NK cell activity 62.2%(p <0.05)and levels of HC 50 17.1%(p <0.05),the cell’ s quantity of antibody formation(PFC)5.3%(p <0.05)and the carbon clearance indexα15.9%(p <0.05).It could also prolong the sleep time 23.4%(p <0.001)and improve the sleep rate 4times(p <0.01).High dose melatonin could improve the thickness of tumescence toe by 33.3%(p <0.001),prolong the sleep time 38.7%(p <0.001)and improve the sleep rate 3.5times(p <0.05).Conclusion:These results indivated that low dose melatonin had the function of enhancing immunity,while low and high dose melatonin could contribute to improve sleep quality.

Antimicrobial activities of persim mon leaves against seven food spoila ge and food -borne pathogens have been tested for the first time.T he results showed that the MIC(minimun inhibition concentrations)and the MBC(minimum bactericidal concentratio ns)of persimmon leaves were determined as 0.313and0.625g /ml against tested food spoilage and food -borne pathogens respectively,and that their antimicrobia l rate was more than 90%.The activity c ompounds in persimmon leaves have been isolated and elucidated as volatile oil,total flavonoid,coum arins,and organic acid.

g /ml LB juicer(prepared from Lycium barbarum L.)was orally administered to a group of mice(LBJ group),while the chow with 5%LB powder was s upplied to another group(LBP group).A normal control and an experimental control were also arranged.After the four groups of mice were fed for 15d,the three groups(LBJ group,LBP group,and the experim ental group)were exposed to 8.5Gy γ-rays and the survival rates recorded.In another experiment,a LBJ group,a LBP group,and an experimental control were fed for 12d,then,the three grou ps were exposed to 3.0Gy γ-rays.After 6d,the number of white blood cells(WBC)and lymphocytes(W-SCC)were counted,the lipidperoxidatio n level(LPO)in spleen and liver were determined and the mic ronucleus frequency(MF )of polychromatic erythrocytes and t he sperm aberration frequcncy(SF)were also observed.The results show ed that LBJ and LBP raised the survival rates by 20%and 30%,respec tively,lowered LPO levels,protected WBC and W-SCC to some extent,decreased MF by 62.5%and 64.3%respectively and lowered SF by 39.5%and 44.2%,re-spectively.Hence LBP has shown rema rkable radioprotective effects.

The"qingzha"chestnut treated at 50℃for 60min was used for studying the storage effect and postharvest physilogical and bioch emical changes .It indicated that re spiration rate,POD activity and CAT activity were controlled by heat tre atment,while amylase activity,soluble sugar and reductive sugar conte nt were reduced.The growth and spread o f fungi were notably controlled during storage period and weight loss rate was also lower than the control CK.But VC content was reduced after heat treatment.
