Abstract: A new glucose biosensor has been made by chitosan to immobilize glucose oxidase and horseradish peroxidase on the screen-printed electrode surface. The system is based on methylene blue as an electron shuttle between peroxidase and electrode.Cyclic voltammetry and current-time curve were employed to investigate the electrochemical characteristics of the glucose biosensor.Under optimal conditions, the range of the sensor response to glucose is from 8.0×10-5mol/L to 3.5×10-3mol/L.This method of glucose detection displayed better anti-jamming capacity and high reproducibility. The screen-printed electrode is simple to prepare and easy to use.
