Synthesis and Characterization of Artifical Antigen of Olaquindox

Abstract: The derivative of olaquindox,called as OLA-SH,was synthesized by succinic anhydride method in this study.And OLA-SH is identified by TLC,MS,IR spectrum and NMR spectrum.Then two artificial antigens of olaquindox(OLA-BSA,OLA-OVA) were prepared by active ester method(AE) and mixed anhydride method(MA) respectively.The characterization of hapten-protein conjugates were examined by two methods,ultraviolet spectrophotometry,sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacry-lamide gel electrophoresis respectively.The numbers of hapten molecules per molecule of protein estimated by ultraviolet spectrophotometry according to the absorbance of compounds at 259.4 nm for two conjugates were 3.8 and 5.0 respectively.
