Abstract: Based on ursolic acid as reference standard and 5% vanillin-acetum and perchloric acid as color developer, the contents of tritepenoidic acid in Cornus officinalis and its health wine were determined by spectrophotometry at 538 nm. The results showed that in the range of 26.4 to 158.4μg for ursolic acid, the linear correlation equation is A=0.0071C-0.0941 (R2=0.9994) and the average recovery rate is 98.94%, with RSD2.31% (n=5); The contents of tritepenoidic acid in Cornus officinalis and its health wine are 2.511% and 2.091% respectively. This method is fast, accurate, reliable and suitable for determination of tritepenoidica cid.
