Abstract: The study aimed to establish a rapid method, rocket electrophoresis(RE) to detect content and activity of IgG from bovine serum. The results showed that the optimal conditions of RE are as follows:3.0%(V/V) antibody, adopting barbital sodium-HCl buffer(pH 8.6),hydroformylation with glutaraldehyde-barbital sodium(5%) at the proportion 1:4(V:V),and elution of non-specific protein with 0.01 mol/L PBST(at pH 7.4). RE is an effective way with good linearity results, correlation coefficient 0.9947,and also a simple and low-cost method, which can be used for detecting IgG during practical industrial product process.
